It's the middle of July 2015. What are you going to do?

Half the year is over. Are you hitting or surpassing your goals for the year? Did you hire that new team member? Close that new account? Take that vacation that you were planning? Maybe. Maybe not. Here are some strategies to quickly move you forward: Strategy #1 - Review your Vision Take a moment to review your personal or professional vision and confirm you’re still on the right path. Sometimes the reasons you haven’t been able to reach your goals are obstacles blocking the way. Try something totally different and take another path. Strategy #2 – Be S.M.A.R.T It’s great to have a clear and focused vision to point in the right direction. Having a simple system to help you achieving your vision is critical. I recommend using SMART goals (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time based) approach to quickly reach your targets. Strategy #3 - Get more Time “The early bird gets the worm” is true when it comes to working on your goals with limited distractions. Imagine what you could accomplish in a week or two of extra time. Get up 30 minutes earlier each day and work on your goals. (ps. this worked wonders for me.) Strategy #4 - Ask for Help Ask a colleague for advice, help, or to be a sounding board. Getting a different perspective and taking the time to share your goals is a good way to have others hold you accountable and on track. In addition, it’s a great way to learn about other ideas you may not have thought of on your own. Strategy #5 - Be Bold Start small. Break the mold. Raise the bar and reach a little higher each day. As you move out of your old comfort zone, you’ll be amazed of what you can accomplish by stretching yourself into undiscovered opportunities. Albert Einstein said it best, the definition of "Insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results." Hope these strategies help.
